Hall's Milkweed or Purple Silkweed Asclepiadaceae: This perennial grows 20 to 80cm tall, the flowers are produced along the stem length and the foliage is lance to egg shaped. The flowers jhave green to purple tinted sepals and rose to purple colored petals. The center of the flowers are pale rose to cream. this species blooms in summer and the seeds are released in late summer. The plants can spread by way of a creeping rootstock.
