	Umbelliferae: This is a compact growing species with creamy-white flowers in crowded umbels over evergreen spiky foliage. Plants are ground-hugging evergreen rosettes with flat, grassy spikes of foliage - Like a mini Yucca. Use in rock crevices with regular water, eastern slopes, alpine house. Best in poor soils that are well draining. Provide some shade during the heat of summer. Large showy flower heads on top of 10 inch tall stems. Zones 7-9. Sow at 64-74ºF for 25 days, move to 15-21ºF for 5 weeks, Then move to 40-45F for germination. Or sow out side in early fall, seeds sometimes take two or three years to germinate. 30 seeds
