[Achillea serbica] Greek Yarrow or Balkan Yarrow (ach-KIL-lee-uh: a-jur-RAT-ih-foh-lee-uh)
Low growing humps of deeply cut foliage and many relatively large white flowers. The flowers have yellow centers. Plants grow 4 to 6 inches (6 in = 15.2 cm) tall and bloom from late spring to mid summer. Good for a rock garden with good drainage, were plants are interesting while in flower and attractive when done flowering, it has a tidy habit of evergreen foliage.
Native to higher elevations in south eastern Europe. Surface sow the seeds and use 65 to 70F (70F = 21.1C) with germination in 2 weeks, if little germination move to 30 to 39F (39F = 3.9 C) for four weeks then back to 65F (65F = 18.3 C).
