Helianthus annuus 'Teddy Bear'
Double yellow flower heads, plants grow 2 to 3 feet tall, with a lot of sun they grow about 18 inches tall and make nice potted plants for the table or entry way.. Nice selection for large pots and containers, also nice as a cut flower. Plants produce multiple flowers per stem. If grown in pot use only one plant per pot. Outstanding as a cut flower in a large vase. Best results in full sun, but will grow in light shade also. Sow seeds in spring after the soil has warmed up for flowering in about three months. Sowings in early summer will produce blooming plants in late summer and early fall. Drought tolerant plants that do well in most soils. Birds will love the seeds as they ripen in late summer.
