[Hibiscus laevis] 'Rose Mallow' or 'Halberdleaf Rosemallow' or 'Mallow Rose' or 'Water Mallow' or 'Swamp Mallow' Malvaceae:
Plants grow 4 to 7 feet tall with good sized, round flowers in white to pink with darker pink eye zones. Hibiscus militaris likes moisture retentive soils but best with good drainage. Attractive halberd shaped leaves, a type of sword with large points at the base. Will grow in full sun to open shade.
Native to the eastern half of the USA.
