Cimicifuga ramosa 'Atropurpurea'
Plants grow 4 to 6 feet tall. Nice tall plants for the shade garden, best in cool, moisture retentive soils that are well draining. Very nice foliage clumps in the summer - blooming late summer with tall spikes of scented white colored flowers.
Start off with 16 weeks at 68-75F, move to between 32 and 40F indefinitely, germination is spread out over two years. Or use Sow at 60 to 76F for 6 weeks then move to between 24 to 39F for 8 weeks. After move to 45-55F. If no germination in 6 weeks, repeat the cycle from the beginning.
