Product Details

Clustered Goldenrod Asteraceae:

Solidago glomerata grows 20 to 40 inches tall from a thick woody rootstock. Yellow-gold blooms late summer and fall with fewer but much larger flower heads than other goldenrods, looking almost like a small yellow aster flower. The thick basal rosettes of leaves are distinctive and the foliage persists even when the plants are in bloom, some claim the leaves have a skunky scent.

Solidago glomerata is native to high elevation habitats in the mountains eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina.
