Attractive plants for your rock garden. The tufted plants grow 5 to 9 inches tall with attractive foliage that has a grayish color and silver-white colored, woolly-textured tops and bottoms. Plants bloom in the summer with dense, small flat heads of flowers. The 'flowers' are white with reddish-brown colored parts. Use in full Sun, were the soils are well-drained. The rounded, gray-silver colored foliage is ornamentel, plus the pearly white, everlasting like flowers put on an interesting display in summer.

Native from the mountains of Japan.
