	'Black Cohosh' Summer (mid July and August) blooming plants. Attractive clumps with tall flowering stems reaching 4 to 5 feet tall. Plants will not bloom until the third year after germination but well worth the time invested in them-long lived clumps that can be divided every few years. A worthwhile species for thew open shade garden giving some height. Plants with attractive foliage mixes well with other large woodland species. 100 seeds.

	 This seed produces a wide mix of different foliage colors from dark green to dark purple. Most will be on the greener side with purplish tinting with a number of darker selections too. Grow in moisture retentive soils in open shade to part sun. Dry soils produce weaker plants and good soils high in organic matter produces nice dense clumps with many stems in about 6 years. Grows 5 to 6.5 feet tall and blooms late summer and fall. Zones 4-8. Start off with 16 weeks at 68-75ºF, move to 25-35º indefinitely, germination is spread out over two years.
