	Plants grow 1 to 1.5 feet tall with yellow-chartreuse colored "flowers" in spring, the foliage is purple-red colored and the stems are tinted red. The foliage is evergreen and persists with an interesting color threw the winter months, in the north during harsh winters the tops can die off, a good spring trimming helps generate new fresh growth. Were winters are cool and rainy plants can suffer from mildew. Zones 5-8. 	'Snow on the Mountain' or 'Mountain Snow' or 'Ghost Weed' (yoo-FOR-bee-uh: mar-jen-AY-tuh) Euphorbiaceae: Ornamental green and white flowering bracts produced in mid to late summer and fall. This species in an upright growing annual, growing from 2 to 4 feet tall. Nice for cutting material, but some people are sensitive to the sap, the sap is an eye irritant and often is transferred from the hands to the eyes, so wash hands after handling any broken parts of the plant that are leaking sap. A good, long lasting cut flower - if the cut ends are seared or dipped in boiling water. Grow in full sun to partial shade, in a well-draining soil; though tolerant of some wet conditions. Best look in nitrogen poor soils, rich soil produce lush foliage that tends to flop and less flowering. Can be grown in large pots too. Needs three months of growth and long days for best color display. Plants do not like root disturbance, so it’s best to sow the seeds in place of growth or use deep plugs. 	'Donkey Tails' (ew-FOR-bee-a: mur-sin-EE-teez) One of those bizarre looking plants with blue-gray succulent leaves that spread out from a central crown, the stems are somewhat to completely lax and upturned at the ends (decumbent). Yellow flowers in May. Plants reach 12 inches or so in height and 15 inches or so wide. Looks best trailing over a wall. A winner for those that like the attractively weird look. Zones (4) 5-8. 	'Cushion Spurge' Use in dry sandy or rocky soils. Plants form a rounded, basketball sized clump of yellow 'flowers' in early spring. Showy and neat clumps in the spring with a few weeks of flowering and in summer the plants are covered with little round, yellow-green buttons atop light green foliage. Leaves turn a reddish color in the fall. Very drought tolerant and not for wet soils or for those that like to over fertilize. Plants grow from a deep carrot-like tap root. Best shape and growth - in full sun on soils that are nitrogen poor. Much loved in spring when in bloom with bright sulphur yellow bracts. Plants are neat and tidy all summer in even very poor soils were other plants burn up and pass away. Will bloom in two years. Some reseeding on open bare ground. Plants bloom the secound year. 	'Gopher Plant' Euphorbiaceae: Plants grow 14 to 24 inches tall and 2 to 3 feet wide. They are very much like Euphorbia myrsinites but more up-right growing and less winter hardy. The flowers are produced in yellow bracts with some plants even having orange-red colored bracts. Full sun in well draining soils. Zones 7-10. This seed germinates best under cooler conditions, I would use a plastic bag and one tablespoon of moist sand or perlit or potting soil mixed with the seeds and keep in the fridge, check the baggy ever week and remove the seeds that are starting to germinate and plant them in a pot or a sheltered location outside and keep moist. Part sun is good to start off with. Germination can be spread out over many months. The seeds are about the size of a small pea seed. Or sow in the fall outside for germination next winter or spring. 10 seeds.
