	 Loose open mats of semi-evergreen foliage. The leaves are small and the flowers are open panicles of trumpet-shaped white flowers with reddish-purple colored veins. When flowering the plants form white colored clouds just above the foliage. As the flowers age they develop a pinkish cast to them. Plants grow 2 inches tall and make a nice ground cover in the rock garden or as a filler in amongst large stones or paving stones. The clumps grow 6 or 7 inches wide and bloom from late spring to mid summer. Zones (3)5-8. Native form the Himalayan Mountains. Lightly cover seeds with soil and use F. 55-65, germination is spread out over a number of weeks. 100 seeds.

Great cut flowers but also very nice as fillers for plants that bloom in the spring and disappear when summer comes. Plants bloom best when the days are longer than 14 hours.
