Plants grow 16 - 24 inches tall, with Sweet scented - dark blue-purple (Lavender) colored flowers. Lavender-blue flowers are produced from June through August, above lacy, gray-green scented foliage. Use as a cut flower or even dried. Long blooming period from late spring throughout summer. Plant in full sun in nitrogen poor soils that are well draining. In the north plants will not over winter well in moist soils, so overwinter dry. This strain blooms earlier than other lavender strains.

Zones 5-8. Freeze seed for seven days before surface sowing [light needed for best results], then move to 60 F, germination from 20- 30 days.

Plants grow 12 inches tall with midnight blue flowers and silver-gray foliage. Use as a cut flower or even dried. They make an attractive, short hedge, with fragrant foliage. Long blooming period from late spring throughout summer, being most prolific during July. Plant in full sun in poor soils that are well draining. Use as a rock garden subject or as a boarder or mass planted for a sea of blue color. In the north plants will not over winter that well in moist soils.

Zones 5-8. Surface sow the seed and use 60 F, germination from 20-30 days. If no results move to 25-38F for 5 weeks.
