	'Mexican Sunflower' With a name like 'Goldfinger' you might think the flowers are gold but plants have scarlet-orange flowers that are 3 to 3.5 inches wide. Plants grow around 3 feet tall (shorter than 'Torch'). Bushy plants with large, dark green leaves. Space plants out 2 feet apart, blooms from mid summer into fall. Plants have flowers that are 3 inches wide, in a brilliant orange-red color resembling single dahlias. Nice cut flower, with plants growing 5 to 6 feet tall, taller in part shade. Plants are butterfly and hummingbird magnets with up to 40 flowers at one time. Does not need staking but some times under windy conditions when the soil is damp - some protection from blowing over might be needed. Half Hardy Annuals that attracts butterflies.
