The foliage is 5-lobed and glossy, most of the leaves are basal, with oblong to lance-shaped, toothed lobes. The flowers are cup-shaped and a deep golden yellow color, and they are sometimes tinted red or purple-crimson on the outside. Dwarf Globeflower blooms late spring and early summer and grows best in consistently moist soils, with a pH from 5.8 to 6.8, in full sun to part shade.
