This is the true wild species with yellow flowers, some with brown markings. Plants should be grown in moisture retentive soils in full sun, blooms late summer and early fall. Very attractive to butterflies and a nice addition to the lake shore planting or along a pond. Use in full sun to part shade.
Zones 3-9. lightly cover seeds and use F 70, germination spread out over next 7 to 45 days.
