'Small Yellow Lady Slipper'

Good results in a test tub with a tissue culture medium complete with amino acids. Difficult for the home gardener. Seeds germinate and take on a fungi (the same fungi that causes damping off)- forming a structure called a proto-corm. After three years or so the plants produce a green leaf. Then after another 6 to 12 years of growth plants will flower. Best sown outside.
