'Fame Flower' or 'Rock Pink' - Portulacaceae Large, showy bright glowing pinkish red flowers on thin upright stems above succulent foliage. The flowers look like bright pink to reddish pink colored anemone flowers and the foliage looks like a cross between and ice plant and a hen and chick. Low growing with the foliage only a few inches tall and the flowers rising up 5 to 8 inches. Blooms from mid spring to mid-late summer, flowers are open during the hottest part of the day. Grow in full sun in rocky soils that are well draining, drought tolerant but best with moister but sharply draining soils. Zones 5-9. 100 seeds.
