Rich dark violet colored flowers in rounded clusters held up 7inches above 2 inch tall foliage. The leaves are silver tinted with white hairs and have very white undersides, they lay out flat along the ground and grow into round clusters with the flowering stems rising up in the middle. The flowering stems and the flower buds are silver white too. Grow in part sun on moist soils. Blooms in mid to late summer.
(4)5-8. Native from Tibet. These seeds are small, even for Primula seed -- so be careful sowing. Surface sow the seeds onto moist medium and keep moist but not water logged, use 65-70F with germination starting in three weeks and spread-out over a few months.
