'Southern Succisella' Dipsacaceae:
Many small Knautia-like round inflorescences end 30 inch tall stems, the pink buds open to reveal white petals and blue tinted anthers. Plants produce many flowers over many weeks. A nice filler plant that gives an airy feel. Attractive filler material for vases of cut flowers, looks nice mixed with large Hosta leaves. Grow in full sun to part shade in soils that do not become very dry.
Zones 4-7. Lightly cover seeds and use 65F, if no Germination after five weeks move to 35F for 4 weeks then back to 65F.
