{Alstroemeria aurea} 'Inca Lily' or 'Peruvian Lily'
Here is a summer flowering plant with spreading tuberous growth. Plants have narrow, twisted leaves and very showy orange colored flowers often tinted green at the tips. Widely grown as a cut flower. When in flower they reach a height of about 3 feet and a width of 18 inches.
Zones (7)8-10. Alstroemeria aurantiaca ‘Orange' - Soak seed in warm water for 3 days, changing the water once a day with fresh warm water. Cover seeds and keep at 70-86F for three weeks then move to 35-42F for four weeks. Move to 65-74F Germination in 2-30 weeks The species is native from Chile and Argentina.
