Plants grow 15 to 18 inches tall and have deep maroon, dry blood colored flowers with lighter centers. The foliage comes out green and ages to a metallic mahogany color. Nicer winter interest. Mix with bright white colors or silver for contrast. Best enjoyed up close, like most dark foliaged and flowering plants. Good cut flower with some fragrance. High heat may tend to lighten the flower color.
