'Meadow Crane's-bill' (jer-AYE-knee-um: prah-TEN-see) White flowers over deeply cut leaves. Plants grow 2 feet tall. Large, saucer shaped flowers produced in spring. Some reblooming in late summer if the first set of flowering stems are cut back before seed is formed. The sturdy stalks do not need staking. Nice looking foliage forms a good clump in the perennial border or the woodland garden. Sun to open shade. Best with good soil moisture. Zones (4)5-8. Native from Northern Europe. Sow seed by lightly covering them in flats or large pot and keep at 64-76F for 4 weeks. After move to a cold refrigerator for at least 4 weeks. Keep moist all the time. After the four weeks in the fridge move 45-55̊F for germination in 1 to 5 weeks. Or you can sow the seeds in a plastic bag with a tablespoon of moist seed medium and keep at room temp for four weeks then keep the seeds in the fridge and remove the seeds as they germinate (5-9 weeks). 10 seeds.
