'Asparagus Fern'
Small needle like leaves, This evergreen, tuberous perennial is ideal for growing in a basket or pot and makes nice cut greens for a vase. Hardy down to 45 F. Can be grown as an annual or stored over winter in a pot in a bright window or green house.
The species is native to South Africa. Scratch seeds with a nail or rub lightly with sand paper then soak in hot water for 2 days. Sow by covering seeds completely with seed mix and use 78F, keep moist at all time. Germination in 1 to 3 weeks.
