Liliaceae:
This is a selection of dwarf alstroemeria that produces plants that grow about 1 foot tall. Nice in pots and good good for cool greenhouses and window boxes. They will flower the same year, the colors of the flowers are vibrant and include deep reds, deep rose and white picotee around reds and rose. The flowers are very large and the plants are compact, growing 12 to 16 inches tall. All flowers have dark stripes and yellow markings - A choice mix.
Zones 9-10 - but can be grown in a green house for year long blooming.
Seeds germinate irregularly over a many weeks. Start off with 3 weeks at 80-86°F, then move for 3 weeks to 38-45°F, then move up to 70-75°F. Seed trays should not be discarded prematurely. Constant moisture must be maintained.
