The first commercially available F1 Hybrid Foxglove. Plants have large spectacular flowers the first year from a late winter/early spring sowing. The plants then bloom with heavy flushes of blooms the second year. Uniform plants grow four feet tall with high quality flower spikes that make very nice cut flower material. This series comes in colors that include, white, Cream, Lavender and Rose. When not in bloom plants are thick mounds of large textured leaves. Cutting back the finishing flower spikes after most of the blooms are finished will promote extra flowering. The flowers have speckled throats and are spaced out more or less evenly around the stout sturdy stems. Nice in open shady beds and borders. Prefers any well-drained soil in part shade. Nice.
