[Baptisia alba var. alba] 'White False Indigo'
Perennial growing 30-50 inches tall, forming bushy clumps a few years. Plants grow from long deep roots that fix nitrogen. Blooms in June and July with whitish colored flowers, the flower buds are darkly pigmented. Prefers a deep, well-drained neutral to slightly acid soil in full sun, long lived were happy with attractive foliage. Best transplanted when young, since plants resent having their root broken.
Soak seed it hot water for 5 minutes drain off water, wait ten minuts and repeat and alow seeds to soak as the water cools for 12 hours sow and thinly cover seeds, germination starts in a few days, some seeds take a while depending on how dry and hard the seed coat was.
