'Carpathian Harebell' Plants grow 8 inches tall and are covered in 1.5 inch wide flowers. This is truly a valuable, compact rock-garden plant with a long blooming period, covered with blue, cup-shaped flowers, perched at the top of the semi-arching stems. Plants will bloom from July to September. Grows well even in half-shade. Easy in sun or light shade in well draining soils. Nice mixed in with large rocks and real low growing ground covers like Sedums or amongst sparse growing grasses and along the tops of rock hills and ridges. Best is soils with some sand or having a gritty texture. Drought tolerant and long lived compared to the more heavily selected horticulture varieties. A nice 'wildflower' Zones 3-7. 300 seeds
