'Great Bellflower'

Plants with light blue flowers that grow 3 to 4 feet tall and have 2.5 inch long tube like flowers. Plant in full sun in the north and part shade in the south and use in soils that are moisture retentive but well draining. This Campanula has some of the largest seeds of the genus, with some of the other species having seed that is dust like. This is a self seeder, so if you do not want new plants showing up in other parts of the garden, remove the tops of the plants after flowering.

Zones (3)4-8. The species is native from Central Europe to Central Asia including the Kashmir region. Surface sow the seeds and use 65-70F with germination starting in 2 weeks and spread-out over the next 8 weeks.

80 seeds.
