Compact growing plants reaching a height of 12 to 18 inches tall. They are covered in golden yellow flowers, with many plants producing bicolor flowers with yellow and brownish-red eye zones. Bushy plants bloom late spring into mid summer-if dead headed, blooming can be prolonged later into the year and plants will live longer. Divide up plants in August or early September to rejuvenate the clumps. Very effect used as a mass planting, space out each plant about 8 inches apart. Excellent cut flowers for floral arrangements. Zones 4-9. Surface sow seeds, light needed for best germination,. Use 65F, 5-20 days. Germination is spread out over a few weeks. Seedlings can be transplanted out into the ground 5 weeks after germination. 100 seeds.
