'Farewell-to-spring' or 'Satin flower' [syn. Godetia amoena] ONAGRACEAE.

This is an annual that grows to about 2 feet tall and has 1 to 2 inch wide, pink flowers that are produced in late spring. Grows well in sand or clay. Tolerates salt spray. Grow in full sun to light shade in soils that are not overly rich in nitrogen. This species will grow in soils that are alkaline, have salt and are sand or clay dominant.

Annuals. Sow outdoors in situ , Germination in less than two weeks at 68ºF, Native from Western North America including: British Columbia, California, Oregon, Quebec, Washington. 400 seeds.
