Rarely offered, this cute Clematis is a Spring bloomer, with many, relatively large flowers that are up to 3 inches across or more. The flowers are pendulous, dangling off of the end of short flower stems. The blue flowers have white centers. A tough nice growing species that is easy to take care and long lived. Excellent for scrambling over & thru shrubs and other full-bulky perennials like Peonies. Most Clematis' like rich, loose soil with an allocation of compost every year. Plant them where their roots are shaded and the plants can grow up into the sun. Grows 4-7 feet tall. Zones (4)5-8. 30 seeds
