Plants are sub-shrubs that grow about two feet tall and have bell shaped, attractive small soft blue colored, fragrant flowers. The petals have recurved ends that scroll around - sometimes in concentric loops. The flowers somewhat dangle from the stems, attached with short pedicels. A heavy bloomer. The coarse foliage and the plants intricate branching are an attractive compliment to the flowers and look good in the garden even when the plants are not in bloom. flowering occurs mid to late summer.
