'Lily-of-the-Valley'
Made up of seeds collected from crosses involving varigated foliage plants and those with pink flowers and giant forms that grow twice the size of the normal types. Partial Shade/Full Shade blooming with white flowers in mid spring. Fragarnt bell shaped flowers. Can be 'invasive' once established. Nice small cut flowers that have a sweet scent. When done flower, plants have large green berries that turn bright orange in late summer.
Zones 3-9. Sow at 64-75ºF for 4 weeks, move to -4 to 24-39ºF for 6 weeks, then move to 45-55ºF for germination which can be spread out over 15 months, Best to sow and keep outside for germination next year. Cover seeds in a sandy loam mix 1/5 inch deep, keep moist but not overly wet.
