'Pampas Grass' or 'Tussock Grass' POACEAE. A large grass with pink tinted flowers in tall plums. Plants flower from 4 to 9 feet tall and can spread out about the same in width. Clump forming with evergreen leaves that arch out over the ground. Blooms in late summer. Sometimes grown in the north as an annual and dug in the fall and brough in side and stored cool and dry until next spring. Native from South America. Zones 7-10. Surface sow seeds and use 70-80F, germination in 7-21 days. Water from below, seeds are small and so are the seedlings at first. Use clean seed medium and pots- susceptible to damping off if to wet. 300 seeds.
