This species is in flower most of the summer, plants produce clear pink flowers that are mixed in amongst soft fern like foliage. The bushy plants grow 10-12 inches tall. Needs a moisture retentive but well drained location, this Coreopsis likes it less dry than the other species. A Humus-sand mix that is rich and moist will give to the best looking plants-were they will grow into good sized spreading clumps up to 2 feet wide, in dry locations plants tend to be more sparse.
Zones (3)4-8. Sow seeds at 70f, germination is spread out over a number of weeks.
