Large bell shaped yellowish flowers with some brown markings inside, plants grow 30 in tall and flower in early summer, if cut back plants tend to flower again. A short lived perennial or sometimes just biannual. Full sun to bright open shade. Like all most all foxgloves this plant is poisonous but I have never heard of any one eating enough of the plant to do real harm. Nice addition to an open shade garden, especially if you let it self seed around rocks and paths and it forms small clumps of naturally grouped plants. Zones 3-9. 300 seeds.
