This is a clump forming perennial species with small yellow, waxy flowers along tall stems. Stems grow 2 feet tall and clumps grow 12 inches or more wide. Summer blooming in light shade were it likes a slightly alkaline soil. A nice plant for the open shade garden, I have had mine for ten years and its leaves are semi evergreen and attractive in the spring. Native from south western Europe and Northern Africa.
