Wine red colored flowers produced on top of 3 foot tall stems, flowers are 3 inches wide. Use these plants in full sun in soils that are low in nitrogen, rich soils produce lots of foliage and less upright growth and fewer flowers, in rich soils the plants will need staking. Full sun, plants are drought tolerant once established. Divide up clumps or start new plants every three years. Nice fresh cutting material and plants will bloom the first year with an early sowing.
