'Blanket Flower' This is a good mix of the more unique colors including burgundy, bright yellow, rosy-red with golden tips, and many other unusual red and gold bicolors. Plants will bloom well the first year and grow to a height of thirty inches, very useful as a cut flower. Many flowers cover the entire plant for weeks, deadheading will promote blooming from June till frost. Easy to grow in well draining to dry soils in full sun. Likes and blooms best on lien (not rich in nitrogen-so do not fertilize) soils-short lived on very rich soils with to much moister. Surface sow, light needed for best germination, 10 days at F 70. Zones 3-10. 50 seeds.
