The soft blue colored flowers are stripped with soft pinkish blue veins. A nice form of Geranium pretense with sky-blue colored, cup-shaped flowers with attractive veining. A little shorter growing than the normal forms of the species and later to bloom. It is less likely to need staking and will re-bloom if deadheaded. Plants grow 2 to 3 feet tall and flower from late spring to late summer. Grow in sun to part shade in moisture retentive but well drained soils. A worthwhile novelty Geranium for growing in the perennial border or for the woodland garden. Plants sometimes self seed but not aggressively; seedlings mostly come true to type unless grown near other forms of the species. Takes 2 years of growth befor large enough to flower well from seed. Long lived once established. Zones 4-9. 10 seeds.
