This species is a little more refined than the one above, rich golden-yellow flowers are 3 inches wide and daisy like. Plants grow 30 inches tall. Makes a good cut flower. Will flower the same year sown if done in mid spring. This species grows in low moist areas but will take driers soil than the other species. Not for soils that are waterlogged or flooded for any length of time. Plants grow from taproots and propagation by seeds, not by division like other helenium.

and use F 70 to 78, germination in 7 to 45 days.
