A long blooming herb and border plant with white, rose or blue flowers. This abundantly flowering perennial grows 2 feet or so tall and can also be used as dried flower. Much of the time they are grown as annuals, blooming in 15-18 weeks from sowing. Plants will grow in poor dry soils, but look best in rich well drained soils that hold some moisture. Germination in less than 2 weeks at 68ºF, rapid germination, if no germination, chill for 2 weeks. native from around the Mediterranean and Asia Minor.
