A dwarf spuria type for a perennial bed or large rock garden. Moisture tolerant plants with many flowers per clump. Sun to part shade in limey soil. This species blooms later in the summer than most others with a dwarf habit and ever-green leaves. White to blue petals that are heavily veined in blue. Plants form bulb like stems and grow 10 to 18 inches tall. Native from the Balkans and Turkey.
