'Maltese Cross' (lick-nis: chal-ce-DON-i-ka) Plants grow three to four feet tall and have dense heads of white flowers. A good subject for the 'white flower garden' or as a contrast to the bright red form, blooming in early to mid summer. Long lived-doing very well in a moist sandy loam soil in full sun to light shade. A classic garden plant that still commands attention. Germination in less than two weeks at 68ºF.
