This is a carpet forming species that grows 4 inches tall when in bloom, the flowers form small clusters of felt in white. Like some moisture in the soil in the summer but dry over the winter-helps to offer it a little shade during the hottest times of the year.
Native from the western grass lands of China. Sow and keep moist and use 65-75ºF for 4 weeks, then move to the fridge for 5 weeks, after five weeks move to 45-55ºF for germination. Or sow in a large pot or tray and keep out side in a sheltered location in fall for germination in the spring.
