This is the dwarf form of this plant-and grows to a massive height of 4 inches. For the rock garden, said to have red flowers-my guess is that its more a pink/purple red than a bright firry red. A fun plant to have hidden in this or that secret spot among rocks. A small plant for moister retentive soils, with frilled-noched petals (thus the name 'Ragged Robin')
