Plants grow 4-5.5 feet tall and are long lived shrub like plants. A great plant in the border or along a fence row. Very long blooming period in summer with pink/lavender Malva like flowers. Upright growing and easy plants that do well even in sandy soils. Useful as a back ground planting or mixed with shrubs. This is a large perennial so it's uses in the boarder is best with other large plants.
Zone 4-9. Prolonged germinators over many weeks, keep seed tray moist and remove seedlings when large enough to handle, use 45-65F. Helpful to use a pin to make a hole in the seeds and soak in warm water for 24 hours.
