Clump forming plants with short lance shaped leaves, the flowers are bright pink and top off upright narrow stems, long blooming from early to mid summer. Plant in moist to medium moisture retentive soils in full sun. Grows 6-9 inches tall and 7-10 inches wide. This species is native from south western china. One of the best of the Lychnis species. Clusters of medium dark pink flowers in late-spring. One of the smaller species in this genus with small dark green, long narrow leaves and bears a number of flowers in loose corymbs. A nice addition for the front of a bed or border or for a rock garden. Zones 4-8. 100 seeds
