'Rose Campion' or 'Dusty Miller' or 'Mullian Pink' (lick-nis: ko-ro-NAH-ree-a)

White flowers with a distinct blush of pink. A useful plant in the garden for its long blooming and softer tones. When in flower in a large mass the flowers look like a cloud of color from a distance. Plants grow 20 inches tall and have densely hairy, white-silver colored, woolly leaves. The seed heads can be dried for flower arrangements too. These plants put on a very bright display in a hot, dry area - in full sun. They grow best with regular watering on sandy soils if they become very dry. Blooms for many weeks in early-mid summer and looks best planted in groups. Cut back the flowering stems after flowering and enjoy the nice felt like, silver colored leaves as a mat-like ground cover. Plants do not like moist soils and are very drought tolerant. Best grown for two years and allowed to reseed. Remove old plants, since they do not flower as well, but they more or less will disappear by them selves over the winter.

Zones 4-8. Surface sow seeds and use F 75, germination in 4-10 days. Once seeds start to germinate sprinkle a little seed mix over the top of them.

50 seeds.
