These Fountain Grasses are Oriental hybrids with long, silky threads of flowers and seeds, putting on a shining silvery-cream fluffy display in summer to winter. all summer long. Plants grow 6 to 7 feet tall and spreading 3 feet wide in the sunny to partly shady garden, this perennial is useful as a screen, hedge, or specimen planting. The foliage is dark green at the bottom, shading to reddish near the top of the slender, erect stalks. The flowering plumes arch over slightly giving it a fountain like appearance.
